PEHAL 2011


Technical paper sessions provide an opportunity for presentation of your work to a large audience in a short time. Because the sessions are synchronous in nature and some attendees plan to move among sessions to catch the papers of their interest, we urge you to adhere to the time allocated to you. Since the time available to present your work is rather short, you need to prepare your presentation materials with utmost clarity and effectiveness. Please follow the following guidelines to help make the technical paper sessions successful.

  1. Please prepare your viewgraphs/slides in advance. No materials or equipment will be available at the conference for preparing your presentation materials at the last minute.
  2. Format: Windows PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx/.pps)


It is the screening round in which our panel of experts will evaluate each abstract on its innovativeness, sustainability, scalability and profitability.

The following document must be filled in form wirh registation on site before or on 25th February 2011:
• An abstract in ‘Times New Roman’, font size 12, word limit: 400 words, contain topic of paper, body of the abstract and member of teams.
Out of all the entries 15–20(tentative) entries will be short listed.
Shortlisted teams would be listed on PEHAL website and would also be informed by e‐mail by 28th February 2011.
A confirmation of receipt will be sent by email within two days.


Entries qualifying stage 1 will be informed through e‐mail.

The full length paper can be of maximum 10 pages.
The final presentation shall be on power point in front of the jury during PEHAL 2011. In addition to this, the participants are required to bring 3 hard copies of the complete paper in IEEE format (which would be sent to you with the confirmation e‐mail by 20th February).
Each team will be given 10 minutes time (7 minutes for presentation + 3 minutes will be for query session by the jury and audience).

The decision of judges and organizers are binding on all participants. 
Exciting Prizes like internships and scholarships from various renowned public and private sector companies will be given to the winners which will be disclosed after first stage.

Participation Certificates will be given to all the participants.
